Robert C. "Goldy" Gould Sr., 65, of Ellwood City, formerly of Harmony, died Saturday at UPMC Passavant Hospital.

Born Sept. 11, 1940, in Sewickley, he was the son of the late Jacob and Elizabeth Fay Beggs Gould.

Mr. Gould worked at the Thorofare Markets for 23 years and retired from Allegheny County's John J. Kane Hospital after 22 years. He enjoyed hunting and kept a beautiful garden.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Sue Mann Gould, whom he married July 27, 1963; two sons, Robert C. Gould II and his wife, Sally, of Fombell and Donald H. Gould and his companion, Stacy, of Oil City; two sisters, Mary Ellen Seyler and her husband, Bill, and Janet Owen, all of Coraopolis; and a brother, John K. Gould and his wife, Eleanor, of Coraopolis.

Also surviving are five grandchildren, Kayla Marie, Robert C. III and Zachary W. Gould and Donald H. Jr. and Caitlyn M. Gould.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Walter (Sylvia) Wilcznski, and a brother-in-law, Gerald Owen Sr.
