SEVEN FIELDS — The Notables Barbershop Chorus will present a public program at 3 p.m. Sunday in the gazebo at Wilshire Circle.
The program will feature music from the 1940s. Attendees should take a lawn chair or blanket.
MARS — An indoor flea market will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at St. John Lutheran Church, Beaver Street.
KARNS CITY — Apeach festival will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Karns City United Methodist Church, 117 Petrolia St.
BRADY TWP — The Old Stone House, Routes 8 and 173, will host a Conflict on the Venango French and Indian War encampment from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.The event will include military demonstrations, battle re-enactments, food concessions and colonial and frontier crafts.
A Celebrate Hope Luncheon to support breast cancer research through the American Cancer Society will be held Sept. 9 at the Elks Club.Cost is $20 for the luncheon or $60 for lunch and a Horizon of Hope Basket.Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and lunch will begin at 12:30 p.m. To register, call Sue Klingler at 724-791-2035 by Sept. 3.
BUTLER TWP — Lifesteps will host free Child Check developmental screenings for children age 5 and younger from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday at Mars United Presbyterian Church, Crowe Avenue, and from 9 a.m. to noon Friday at Adagio Health, 323 Sunset Drive.Each screening takes about 30 minutes and results will be discussed with parents immediately.
