Sing Hosanna! is now accepting registration for its annual Camp Artsanna!performing arts camp for children ages 7 to 14.

Camps will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon Monday through June 24 and July 10 through the 15.

Participants will adapt a play into a musical, which will be performed at the end of each session.

PENN TWP — A free Kid's Expo will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the Butler County Airport, Airport Road.The event will feature activities, free lunches, door prizes and entertainment.Sen. An Outdoor Discovery program featuring crew members from Play Things Etc. will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Carousel Shelter at Alameda Park.As part of the Butler County Community Parks and Recreation Department's Discovery series, the event will feature demonstrations of toy rockets, airplanes and remote-control items, and information about the physics that make them work.

EVANS CITY — A senior adult cookout and singalong will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Evans City, 242 S. Washington St.The event is open to adults age 55 and older and will feature piano music by Nancy Sutton and a performance by the Silver Quartet.

SAXONBURG — Donations of used books are being accepted through Monday at Outlook Pointe at Saxonburg, 100 Bella Court, for a used book sale to be held June 24.Held in conjunction with the Great American Cookout Event, the sale will benefit the Friends of the Saxonburg Library.
