A July 8 wedding is being planned by Butler residents Patty Trufley and Mark Thomas.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Stephen and Susan Trufley of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Robert and Carol Thomas, also of Butler.
The bride-elect is a 1995 graduate of Butler High School.
Her fiancé graduated in 1986 from Slippery Rock High School. He is self employed in the Butler area.
