BUTLER TWP — The American Cancer Society will have a Relay For Life event from noon June 10 until noon June 11 at the Butler Intermediate School Track and Soccer Field.

Relay For Life is a 24-hour team walk that raises funds for cancer research, education, advocacy and service programs.

Registration costs $100 per team, and teams can have eight to 15 people. Entertainment and a DJ will be provided during the entire event.

The event also features a survivors victory lap, reception and the luminaria ceremony, which honors cancer victims.

Registration for students entering kindergarten through grade 12 in the fall is now being accepted at Portersville Christian SchoolThe school is open to students in grades pre-kindergarten through 12.
