BUTLER TWP — The Sunnyview Home Auxiliary will host its annual Spring Salad Luncheon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday in the main dining room at Sunnyview Home, Sunnyview Circle.

The event will include a demonstration on floral arranging by Butler Florist, a Chinese auction and a basket raffle.

Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for Sunnyview residents and children younger than 10. Proceeds benefit the residents of Sunnyview Home.

BUTLER TWP — A Families Forever Seminar, hosted by Lifesteps and Family Services of Butler Memorial Hospital, will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Lifesteps, 383 New Castle Road.The seminar will focus on minimizing the effects of divorce on children.A program for children in grades one through six will be held simultaneously.Cost is $50 for adults and free for children. The Butler Kiwanis Club will hold its semiannual Peanut Day throughout the day on Friday.Kiwanis members will sell bags of peanuts for a donation in front of Friedman's supermarket in the Greater Butler Mart and Giant Eagle in Moraine Pointe Plaza.Proceeds from peanut sales will benefit Kiwanis projects.Woman's club hosts PARC party FridayThe Penn Township Woman's Club will sponsor a Friday Night Party for the Pennsylvania Association for Retarded Citizens at 6:15 p.m. Friday at the shelter's workshop West Jefferson and Washington streets.The event will feature pizza, a clown and music.

SAXONBURG — Applications are now being accepted for the Miss Saxonburg pageants in June.The deadline for applications has been extended to May 25.Pageants are divided into the age categories 6 to 8, 9 to 11, 12 to 14 and 15 to 18.For information or applications, call 724-234-4322.Basket bingo aids diabetes associationA Longaberger Basket Bingo will be held at noon Saturday in the social hall at Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. CRANBERRY TWP — The Cranberry Rotary Club and Gardens Veterinary Hospital will sponsor a rabies clinic from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Rowan Elementary School, 8051 Rowan Road.Cost is $7 per pet. Proceeds benefit community projects.

SAXONBURG — The Senior Adult Ministry of Outlook Pointe at Saxonburg and the Saxonburg-Sarver Ministerium will host a concert featuring the Southernaires at 3 p.m. Saturday at Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church, Main Street.Admission to the concert is $10 per person. HILLIARDS — Abenefit will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Valley Dam Sportsman and Snowmobile Association on Brick Road.The event is planned to raise money for Sharon Ann Dillaman Hays, who was recently diagnosed with kidney failure and is battling numerous other health problems.The event will include raffles, Chinese auctions, food, a bake sale, games and music. Admission is $5 per person.

CRANBERRY TWP — Acraft show will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Cranberry Township municipal center, 2525 Rochester Road.Admission is $2 for the event, sponsored by the Southwest Chapter of Habitat for Humanity.

BUFFALO TWP — Crafters and vendors are now being sought for the Buffalo Township Community Day to be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Lernerville Speedway, Route 356.Cost is $15 for a table or space.
