Roperti, Barkus

A July 15 wedding is being planned by Alison Barkus of Butler and David Roperti of Beaver Falls.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Robert and Pamela Barkus of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Louis and Ruth Roperti of Beaver Falls.

The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of Butler High School and a 2004 graduate of Penn State University. She works as a teacher in the Dallastown School District in York. She is also pursuing a master's degree in education administration at York College.

Her fiancé graduated in 2000 from Riverside High School and in 2004 from Penn State University. He is a transportation analyst for Armstrong World Industries in Lancaster
