Mars — Several fourth graders at Mars Elementary School recently wrote poems about the Pittsburgh Steelers and their quest to win a fifth Super Bowl.

Samantha Paukovics, George Rohr, Tommy Pierre, Dakota Stewart, Elio Radovitch and Jacob Kronenwetter each penned a poem to cheer on the team.

The students are taught by fourth grade teacher Tammy Mitchell.

Here are a few of the poems:

Steelers, Steelers really rock,Steelers, Steelers rock my sock.Steelers, Steelers really roll,Steelers, Steelers go to the Super Bowl.Ward always smiles,Even when he's in piles.Bettis isn't bad,Polamalu isn't sad.But we are glad,The Steelers are RAD!!!By George Rohr

Steelers, Steelers will get it done. We'll party all night and under the sun.For the next 10 days,We'll be in a crazy mind haze.Waiting for the curse to break. The Steelers will fight like snakes. They will not be bums,They're going to get theOne for their thumbs,So, let's go Steelers!!!By Samantha Paukovics

Ben likes to throw,He goes with the flow.Ward catches the ball,But that's not all.The Bus likes to block,He keeps time on the clock.Heath Miller is a tight end,He also likes to spend.Batch is a quarterback. He can't ever get sacked. The Steelers are my favorite team,They are the best I've ever seen.By Dakota Stewart
