A May 6 wedding is being planned by Butler residents Krista King and Jake Walchesky.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of James and Debra King of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Bill and Lucy Walchesky of Mechanicsburg.

The bride-elect is a 1998 graduate of Butler High School and a 2001 graduate of the nursing program at Butler County Community College. She works as a registered nurse at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Her fiancé graduated in 1998 from Butler High School and in 2004 from the Indiana (Pa.) University School of Culinary Arts. He works as a demi chef at the Butler Country Club.
