Fordham 90, Duquesne 63
NEW YORK — Corey McCrae was 6-for-7 from 3-point range and scored 20 points to lead Fordham to a 90-63 victory over Duquesne on Sunday, the Dukes' eighth consecutive loss.
Bryant Dunston added 17 points and 11 rebounds for the Rams (7-9, 2-1 Atlantic-10), who led 57-31 at halftime. Sebastien Greene had 12 points and freshman Chris Bethel added 11 on 5-for-5 shooting.
Chauncey Duke was 7-for-10 from the field and had 21 points for the Dukes (2-13, 0-4), while Brian Kelly had 10.
Dunston had seven points as Fordham took a 15-5 lead in the opening 4:19. Bryant McAllister's jumper brought the Dukes within 24-14, but the Rams went on a 19-5 run to break the game open and take a 43-19 lead with 5 minutes left in the half. McCrae connected on three 3-pointers in the spurt.
Nick Vita's jumper closed Fordham's 9-2 run to open the second half and gave the Rams a 63-33 lead with 15:33 to play.
