Eric Langett, son of Laura and David Langett of Butler, recently was promoted to his current rank while serving with Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 14, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, N.C.Langett joined the Marine Corps in September 2002.Air Force Reserve Airman 1st Class

Heather Efaw has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.She is the daughter of Gary and Kathy Efaw of Zelienople.Efaw is a 2000 graduate of Seneca Valley High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from Penn State University in 2004.

Daniel C. Krause, New Wilmington, formerly of Butler, and the son of David and Margaret Osche Graham and Glenn Krause, graduated from basic/AIT training at Fort. Leonard Wood, Mo., on Oct. 28.He currently is a combat engineer and will report for duty at Fort Hood, Texas, on Nov. 23. He will then be deployed to Iraq.Krause attended Butler High School until September 2000 and is a 2003 graduate of Wilmington High School. He also completed one year at Robert Morris University.
