IN BRIEF
University of Pittsburgh freshman swimmer and Seneca Valley High School graduate Stacie Safritt was part of the Panthers quartet that set the school record in the 400 freestyle relay with a time of 3 minutes, 24.3 seconds in a meet against Notre Dame Friday at Trees Pool.
Safritt teamed with Kelly Redcay, Jordan Wallace and Kristin Brown to set the mark.
Despite the effort, Pitt dropped a 138-105 decision to the Fighting Irish.
