Alfred rolls past Grove City
ALFRED, N.Y. — Paul Keeley threw for 303 yards and three touchdowns to lead Alfred to a 27-7 win over Grove City Saturday.
Keeley's 59-yard TD pass to Julio Fuentes opened the scoring in the second quarter. Mike Darling followed with an 11-yard catch for a touchdown.
But Ken Roudybush's 2-yard TD run for Grove City (3-6) with two minutes left made it 13-7 at halftime.
In the second half, Alfred's Brenton Brady scored a rushing touchdown and Keeley completed a 14-yard TD pass to Craig Zarzycki. Keeley finished 24-of-38 with two interceptions. Chris Reger led the Saxons (7-1) with 100 receiving yards.
The Wolverines were limited to 165 yards of offense.
