Pineapple surprise
Leetta Christy of Clearfield Township looks over the pineapple plant she grew. Christy bought a pineapple at a grocery store about 4 or 5 years ago, cut off the top, and planted it in a large pot. She put the plant outside in the summer and brought it inside during the winter months. But this summer, for the first time, the plant produced a pineapple of its own.
