A Dec. 31 wedding is being planned by Kelly Bordash and Christopher Dopp.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mark and Cynthia Bordash of Richmond, Ohio. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are David Dopp Sr. of Pittsburgh and Victoria Dopp of Sharpsburg.

The bride-elect graduated in 1999 from Edison Local High School, and earned a bachelor of arts degree in English in 2003 from Allegheny College and a master's degree in teaching in 2004 from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a third grade teacher at Emily Brittain Elementary School in the Butler School District and is currently pursuing a master's degree in educational administration at Duquesne University.

Her fiancé graduated in 1996 from Shaler High School, earned a bachelor's degree in education in 2001 from Slippery Rock University and a master's in education in 2002 from the University of Pittsburgh. He is an eighth grade math teacher in the Pittsburgh Public School System. He is also pursuing a degree in educational administration at Duquesne.
