These two butterflies, above, enjoy the butterfly bush in Diane and Thomas Gaither's flower garden in Prospect. Diane Gaither is teaching a class on drying flowers at the Institute for Learning in Retirement at Slippery Rock University. Thomas, a biology professor at SRU, maintains the 75 to 80 organically grown flowers and vegetables that occupy the couple's yard.
