Butler County Master Gardeners from the Seven Fields Trial Garden Committee will host an open garden tour and a "Garden Design with Annuals" program at the Penn State Garden Selects trial garden in front of the Seven Fields Community Pool at 10 a.m. Saturday.

The program will focus on garden designs incorporating the current trial garden varieties, including country and traditional garden designs. The Master Gardeners will also offer tips for planting and using containers in garden design, as well as how to use color in the garden.

Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer individual questions about the trial gardens and the program.
