Diana Wolfe and her husband Blaine of Cranberry Township, admire the sunflowers grown by the township’s Master Gardeners near the municipal building on Rochester Road. The Master Gardeners hosted a garden tour last week. Sunflowers can grow to heights of 8 to 12 feet in rich soil. Also, sunflower plants’ roots grow deep, helping it withstand dry summer days life we’ve had in the region.
