Leland Kellar recently graduated from the Army ROTC Leader Development and Assessment Course, also known as "Operation Warrior Forge," at Fort Lewis, Tacoma, Wash.He is the son of Valerie Kellar of Mars and Dan Kellar of Hampton, N.H.The cadet is a 2002 graduate of Winnacunnet High School in Hampton, and is currently attending Liberty University, Lynchburg, Va.

Justin Tassey, son of Edward and Susan Tassey of Butler, has left for Sasebo, Japan.He will be stationed in Japan for three years and is attached to the USS Guardian.As a mineman, he will be hunting for and laying mines.He joined the Navy in July 2003.
