Slammed on the South Side
Boston pitcher Matt Clement wipes his brow as Aaron Rowand of the Chicago White Sox rounds the bases on a solo home run in the fourth inning Thursday at Chicago. The Butler native gave up six hits and four runs, including three homers, and struck out five, but he came away with a no-decision after a ninth-inning home run by Manny Ramirez gave the Red Sox a 6-5 victory.
