Brad Cottage had a double, single and three RBI and David Steighner a double and triple to lead East Butler to an 11-1 five-inning victory over Butler Township in Butler County American Legion baseball action Tuesday.

In Fourth of July weekend action:

Butler City and Mars both won three games and West Sunbury swept a doubleheader from Prospect that took six-and-a-half hours to play.

This is the final week of regular season action. Saxonburg can clinch the regular season title with either one more win or an East Butler loss.

The top eight teams in the final standings make the BCAL playoffs, which begin July 11.
