PITTSBURGH - With just a month until the world's top professional bass anglers come here for the 35th CITGO Bassmaster Classic, the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission is inviting the public to see what is drawing the world's most prestigious competitive freshwater fishing event to the Three Rivers: the fish.

Commission biologists will exhibit fish and fish population sampling techniques and discuss bass habits, habitats, and abundance in the Three Rivers at a demonstration at Point State Park on the Allegheny River side at noon Wednesday.

The Bassmaster Classic will be July 29 to 31.

The commission's presentation is part of the Countdown to the Classic Series by Venture Outdoors and the Pittsburgh Downtown Trianglers.
