During a recent ceremony, the Foster Grandparent Program of Southwestern Pennsylvania presented a Director's Award for Oustanding Service to <b>Beulah Folino</b> of Butler for her service to the Butler YMCA.The program allows seniors to volunteer as mentors, tutors and caregivers for children and youth with exceptional needs.---<b>Nicholas Radio</b> was recently honored with the Graduate Student Award for Excellence in Teaching at the annual Celebration of Teaching Excellence at Duquesne University.According to a university press release, the award, sponsored by the Center for Teaching Excellence, promotes and rewards teaching effectiveness of current graduate students and provides award nominees with training on how to present evidence of teaching excellence.Radio, who is one of only four graduate teaching assistants selected for the award, also received a gift of $500.Radio is a resident of Harmony and is a graduate student in the Mylan School of Pharmacy.
