Switchback Raceway, located on Route 8 north of Butler, opened its 2005 season Sunday with the first of nine rounds of harescrambles.

The first motocross event is set for June 18. Open practice sessions on the MX track for bikes and quads will be starting soon - little bikes and quads on Wednesday nights, big bikes on Thursday nights.
