Erika Brunner scored four goals and added four steals to lead the Slippery Rock University women's water polo team to a third-place finish at the Division II Easterns with a 16-3 victory over Salem International Sunday at Morrow Field House.

Brunner compiled eight goals, seven assists and three steals in The Rock's three games and her performance garnered her the most votes earning All-Tournament team honors.

Amanda Zychowski, a graduate of A-C Valley, had four assists and two steals Sunday and was also named to the all-tournament team. She totaled three goals, six assists and seven steals for the weekend.

The Rock (7-14) had lost its opening-round game against Mercyhurst 6-5 on Saturday morning before defeating Queens 15-9 Saturday evening. SRU had defeated Mercyhurst in its two previous contests this season.

Gannon took first place and Mercyhurst was second.
