Stephanie O'Toole, 10, of Butler won three gold medals at the U.S. Swimming Allegheny Mountain "A" Championships at the University of Pittsburgh over the weekend.

She placed first in the 100-yard individual medley (1 minute, 10.94 second), in the 50 breaststroke (36.81) and in the 100 breaststroke (1:19.90).

The Center Township fourth-grader also placed second in the 200-yard freestyle and third in the 100 freestyle.

ATLANTA - Georgia Tech football coach Chan Gailey suffered a heart attack Monday while playing racquetball at the campus recreation center.Gailey, who turned 53 in January, was taken to Piedmont Hospital after experiencing chest pains. He underwent a balloon angioplasty, a procedure that is used to clear a blocked artery, and was resting comfortably.Gailey, entering his fourth season as Georgia Tech's coach, was a former offensive coordinator with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

PHILADELPHIA - John Chaney will return to coach Temple in the NIT.Chaney was suspended for the final five games of the season after ordering rough play from one of his players, who subsequently broke the arm of St. Joseph's senior John Bryant.Chaney will be on the bench when the Owls play at Virginia Tech in a first-round game tonight.

NEW YORK - Major League Baseball gave a congressional committee Monday about 400 pages of documents on drug testing and said commissioner Bud Selig was willing to testify at Thursday's hearing on steroid use.Lawyers for Jason Giambi, Frank Thomas and Rafael Palmeiro asked the committee to withdraw subpoenas for their clients, and lawyers for players and the commissioner's office continued to negotiate with committee staff, trying to narrow the scope of questioning.Selig, who initially offered a top aide as a substitute, reversed course and offered to appear on Thursday.
