The Armstrong Arrows Mite A Major hockey team improved to 7-0 in the Pittsburgh Amateur Hockey League with two recent victories.

Troy Double scored three goals and Dustin Davis added two in a 7-2 win over the Erie Lions. Conner Blose and Christian Miller also scored and Josh Oliver got the win in goal.

Blose scored four goals in a 12-0 win over the Arctic Foxes. Goalie Clay Bachman recorded his second shutout. Hyte Eurich added three goals, Davis and Double scored two each and Nick Whann netted one.

The Arrows will compete in the Nutcracker Classic held at the Island Sports Center Sunday through Dec. 31.

Zach Pennington had a goal and two assists as Butler's freshmen tied Greensburg Central Catholic, 3-3, recently.

Tanner Master and Beau Bechtel added a goal and assist each and Warren Schultz had an assist.
