Knoch will travel to West Allegheny to play top-seeded West Allegheny at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the first round of the WPIAL Class AAA football playoffs.
The Knights (3-6) finished in fourth place in the Greater Allegheny Conference with a 3-3 record. West Allegheny (9-0) was the Parkway Conference winner with a perfect 6-0 record.

Tyler Armagost, 13, of Boyers will compete in the regional Punt, Pass and Kick competition at Heinz Field Sunday before the Steelers-New England Patriots game.The top four finishers out of the competitions in all 32 NFL cities will advance to the national competition during the AFC and NFC championship games in January.
Butler graduate Megan Hulick, a senior on the Grove City College women's tennis team, earned Presidents' Athletic Conference Player of the Year honors over the weekend.The top-seeded Hulick won the No. 1 singles title at the PAC Championships in Erie, defeating No. 2 seed Katie Navarra of Bethany (W.Va.) College 6-4, 6-0 in the finals.Grove City won the team championship with 47 points and received individual titles from Kristin McNally at No. 2 singles, Lindsay Hosler at No. 4 singles, Nicole Leasure at No. 5 singles, Hulick and Julie Crewson at No. 1 singles, Hosler and McNally at No. 2 doubles.
Katie Dellich, a 2000 graduate of Butler High School, was named an administrative coordinator for the U.S. Tennis Association's Middle States Training center in Pennsylvania.Dellich, a three-time tennis All-American, will be training top junior players for national and pro events. She is currently a tennis pro at Oxford Tennis Center in Wexford.
