The engagement of Mandy Long of Worthington and Daniel Jones of Kittanning has been announced.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Donald and Marcia Long of Worthington. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are James and Barbara Jones of Cabot.

The bride-elect graduated in 2000 from Kittanning High School and is a senior majoring in elementary education at Clarion University.

Her fiancé graduated in 1995 from Knoch High School and earned a master's of education from Slippery Rock University in 2004.
