Monica Glomb of Valencia pitched a no-hitter at the NSA Eastern Region Softball Nationals July 28 in Columbus, Ohio as a member of the Beaver County Hornets.
The Hornets tied for ninth place out of 119 teams in the 16-and-under division.
Glomb, who will be a sophomore at Mars High School, picked up four victories in the tournament.
