An Oct. 16 wedding is being planned by Laura Yaple and Brian Eury, both of Fairfax, Va.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Larry and Connie Yaple of Union City. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Peter and Paula Eury of Chicora.

The bride-elect graduated in 1999 from Union City High School and in 2003 from Thiel College with a degree in business administration and accounting. She works as an auditor for the Department of the Navy in Washington, D.C.

Her fiancé graduated in 1994 from Moniteau High School and in 1997 from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a degree in visual communications and graphic design. He is a graphic designer for Nova Blue in Herndon, Va.
