An Oct. 2 wedding is being planned by Tammi Shoaf of Cabot and Frank Rachwal of Pittsburgh.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Richard and Coleen Shoaf of Cabot. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Joseph Rachwal of Butler and Laura Makepeace of Pittsburgh.

The bride-elect graduated in 1997 from Knoch High School. She works at the office of Dr. Munir Elawar in Butler.

Her fiancé graduated in 1995 from Knoch High School. A student at La Roche College, he plans to graduate in December. He works for the Land America Financial Group in Moon Township.
