Butler native Matt Clement fell to 7-8 on the season when the Chicago Cubs;' pitcher dropped a 5-2 decision Saturday in St. Louis.

Clement is 0-4 in his last six starts, but has a 2.15 earned run average during that stretch. He allowed three runs and six hits, struck out five and walked four Saturday.

"I'm pretty happy with the way I'm throwing the ball," Clement said. "They're beating me by one run or 3-2 or 1-0, and that just means I've got to figure out a way to be a little bit better."

Travis Geisler of Cranberry Township started 32nd and finished 23rd at the NASCAR Busch Tropicana Twister 300 Saturday in Joliet, Ill.Geisler is the son of Late Model driver Lynn Geisler, who earned his 100th career Lernerville Speedway feature win Friday night.
