The West Penn Football Coaches Association will hold its 13th annual All-Star Football Classic at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Wilmington Area High School.
Admission is $5.
Players from Karns City, Moniteau and Slippery Rock will be members of the South squad, coached by Slippery Rock High School's Clyde Conti and his staff. Conti will also be honored as the North Coach of the Year.
Grove City players will appear on the North team, which will be coached by Jim Bell and his Hickory staff.
South players include:
Moniteau's Clay Kohlmeyer (QB), Rob Flick (T) and Dylan Snyder (T); Karns City's Dustin Libecco (C/NG), Pat Miller (G) and Scott Christie (T) and Slippery Rock's Bill Dillon (WR/FS), Travis Sarver (RB/SS), Dan Sommers (G/DT), Mike McCaffrey (WR/DB) and Rich Lee (TE/LB).
North players from Grove City:
Josh Bowser (RB/DL) and Brendan Frisk (OL/DL).
Pullman Park will serve as the site of two PIAA Class A semifinal baseball games Thursday.Neshannock (20-1) and Sto-Rox (19-2) will square off at 1 p.m. and Clarion-Limestone (16-5) will face Carmichaels (16-3) at 3 p.m.
Butler's John Aubrey Jr. finished in 10th place at the Tri-State Amateur Championship Tuesday at New Castle Country Club.Aubrey's first round 78 was followed by a 73 for a finish of 7 over par (151) in the two-round event.
