Five Butler County high school baseball players will be participating in the first WPIAL all-star games June 12 at Falconi Field in Washington, Pa.

Knoch catcher Todd Kennedy, as well as Seneca Valley third baseman Ben Follett and pitcher Ryan Page, will play in the Class AAA game at 6 p.m.

Mars first baseman Mike Skurko and Freeport shortstop Luke Westerman will play in the Class AA game at 2:30.

Mars coach Andy Bednar will help lead a team in the Class AA contest.

Five Grove City College baseball players were named All-President's Athletic Conference this season.Slippery Rock High School graduate and senior designated hitter Greg Grupp and sophomore shortstop Mike Ritter earned first-team honors.Junior catcher A.J. Stedford, senior second baseman Jake Cuthbert and sophomore outfielder Jerry Ott gained second-team honors.
