U.S. troops secure the site where a suicide attacker detonated a car bomb outside the so-called Green Zone that houses the U.S. headquarters in Baghdad today. One U.S. soldier and five Iraqi civilians were killed and 25 were injured, including two American soldiers. The bomb was hidden inside a Baghdad taxi and exploded outside of a 3-foot-high concrete blast wall protecting a U.S. checkpoint. Two more U.S. soldiers were killed and two wounded when a roadside bomb exploded in the city.
