Chase Rowe is rolling.

The Slippery Rock University third baseman and Knoch High School graduate hit his second home run in two days and sixth of the season as The Rock put the finishing touches on a weekend, four-game sweep of PSAC foe Lock Haven, 13-0 and 10-6 at Jack Critchfield Park Sunday.

Slippery Rock (26-18), 9-7) won both games at Lock Haven Saturday, 5-1 and 5-0. Rocky D'Angelo tossed a three-hit shutout in the second game.

But Sunday belonged to Rowe, who hit a towering home run to right field in the first game as The Rock routed Lock Haven.

Rowe was 3-for-4 with three RBI in the first game.

Nathan Statzer also homered for SRU in the first game.

John Katich tossed a five-hitter, striking out 10 for The Rock.

Rowe was at it againin the nightcap, going 2-for-3 with two doubles as SRU spotted Lock Haven (15-24, 2-14) a 4-0 lead after the top of the first.

But SRU starter Derek Blyzwick settled down to finish the game.

The Rock has now won five straight games.

Seneca Valley graduate Ashley Greene recorded a win in singles action as the SRU tennis team recorded a 5-3 win over Shippensburg Sunday.The Rock is now 13-6.

SRU sophomore Matt Walsh carded a 156 over two days to place 14th in the individual competition at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championships Sunday.The Rock finished with a team score of 630, 31 strokes off the pace set by PSAC champion Indiana (Pa.) University.The Rock finished fifth out of six teams.Butler graduate Dan Rodgers finished 22nd with a score of 164.

Shannon Holt scored 18 goals in four games as the SRU women's water polo team finished fifth in the Collegiate Water Polo Association Western Division Championships at the University of Michigan over the weekend.
