Jackson whiffs 14 for Texas A&M
Former Seneca Valley High School standout pitcher Zach Jackson tossed a three-hitter to lead 10th-ranked Texas A&M to a 4-1 win over Texas Tech Saturday night.
Jackson, a junior left-hander, struck out a career-high 14 while hitting three batters and walking two.
Jackson, who transferred to the Aggies from Louisville, is now 6-1.
Texas A&M is 23-5 overall this season.
