An April 17 wedding is being planned by Michelle Allen of New Castle and Joseph Mariotti of Butler.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jeanne Allen of Monaca. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Joseph and Charity Mariotti of Butler.

The bride-elect is a 1996 graduate of Center High School and a 2001 graduate of Slippery Rock University. She is a social service director at Indian Creek Nursing Center in New Castle.

Her fiancé is a 1987 graduate of Butler High School and a 1989 graduate of Ohio Diesel Tech. He works as a programmer/machinist at Chick Machine Co. in Butler.
