The Slippery Rock baseball team rolled to a 16-9 win over Merrimack College (Mass.) Monday morning in Fort Myers, Fla.

Ben Marzullo hit two home runs for The Rock (8-3), while Matt Kozusko added a solo round-tripper.

On Saturday, The Rock tallied a 6-0 win over Bloomsburg and 8-6 over Indianapolis in the annual spring break trip to Florida.

Against Bloomsburg, John Katich pitched a one-hit complete game shutout, striking out two and walking two.

Brad Wilson and Phil Butch each contributed a pair of hits for The Rock.

Against Indy, Seneca Valley graduate Nathan Statzer and Joe Pascarella had three hits apiece, and Matt Kozusko two hits for SRU.

Jeremy Becker threw six innings to pick up the win while Nick Armstrong earned the save.
