A May 1 wedding is being planned by Saxonburg residents MaryBeth Bergbigler and Kory Guynup.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Leroy and Mary Bergbigler of Butler. The mother of the prospective bridegroom is Jackie Barkman of Saxonburg.

The bride-elect is a 1995 graduate of Butler High School and a 1999 graduate of Penn State University, Main Campus. She works for Bergbigler Dairy in Butler.

Her fiancé attended Knoch High School and is a student at Butler County Community College. He works as an EMT and volunteers at the Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company.
