The Butler Eagle reported on the incident of vandalism on the Democratic Committee booth that occurred during the Zelienople Fall Festival.

On behalf of the committee, I wish to express my thanks to the Fall Festival organizers, in particular Matthew Edwards, and to Zelienople Police Officer Myers who responded and were very helpful.

Zelienople is a wonderful town and I do not want this incident to reflect poorly on the town. I volunteer with the Zelienople Historical Society and have come to know many of the people who make Zelienople a great place.

I also want to express my thanks to the many people who expressed support.
