Tirk, Cochran

Pasqualina “Lena” Maria Tirk of Butler and Dakota Dennis Cochran of Knox were united in marriage Aug. 1, 2020, at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman. Father Ward Stakem officiated. A reception followed at Cooper Hall in Saxonburg.

The bride is the daughter of Patrick and Frances Tirk of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Tina and Dennis Cochran of Knox.

The maid of honor was Francis Schneider of Butler. Bridesmaids included Taylore Bair, Butler; Natasha Wise, Reynoldsville; Kayla Simpson, Corsica; Aubriaunna Kuriger, Butler; Morgan Zeiler, Knox; and Alyssa Mansfield, Knox.

The flower girls were Lily Tirk, Cabot, and Emmalyn Wise, Reynoldsville.

Performing the duties of best man was Braiden Cochran, Knox. Ushers included Sy Morales, Miami, Fla.; Jason Tirk, Cabot; Calen Heeter, Knox; John Tirk, Butler; Jonathan Hall, Bloomsburg; and Mason Mansfield, Knox. The ring bearers were Colben Wise, Reynoldsville, and Garrett Simpson, Corsica.

The bride is a 2016 graduate of Butler High School, a 2018 graduate of Butler County Community College and a 2021 graduate of Clarion University.

She is employed by Sonneborn, in Petrolia.

The bridegroom graduated from Keystone High School in 2015. He attended Clarion University. He is in the U.S. Army Reserve.

He is employed by the U.S. Army at Conneaut Lake.

The couple is making their home in Chicora.
