Program to provide fresh food coupons

Community Partnership has created a Fresh Bucks program in partnership with the Butler City Farmers’ Market to help people gain easier access to fresh foods.

The program will run from June 5 to Aug. 28 and the sign-up period will end June 1.

The Fresh Bucks Program will give income-eligible individuals $50 worth of coupons each month from June to August to use at the Farmers’ Market.

These will come in a coupon book format and will range from $1 to $10 in value and be spendable at participating vendors at the farmers market.

The program will also help with transportation needs for individuals to and from the farmers market in partnership with ANR Transport.
