Mars Area School Board approved a number of items Tuesday night, including:

- Susan Moury as a track and field coach, with a $3,987 stipend

- Felix Quetot as a custodian, with salaries and benefits totaling $35,014

- Amending the 2021-22 district calendar to move Teacher Induction Day from Aug. 19 to Aug. 16

- A vision contract renewal with Vision Benefits of America for 2021-22 and 2022-23

- The district’s June 30 audited financial statements

- The district’s 2021-22 self-funded dental rates with PSEA Health and Welfare

- Deborah Brandstetter as the school board secretary, effective July 1

- Deborah Brandstetter as an authorized signer on all district bank and investment accounts

- Sending Josh Schwoebel, director of communication, to the rescheduled PenSPRA Symposium Oct. 14 to 15

- A $11,600 bid from Town-Country Lawn Company for a zero-turn mower

- Two unnamed students to miss more than 10 days of school

- Seven unnamed students to take courses over the summer or next school year

- A data management use agreement for kindergarten through first grade with Acadience Learning Online.
