Union did not score a point in the second quarter Friday night, but managed a 29-28 girls basketball victory over rival A-C Valley.
Maggie Minick led the Damsels with eight points. The teams combined for only 26 points in the second half.

Butler senior Rachael Blose rolled a 618 during Butler's bye match Friday, finishing the regular season with a 180.76 average and winning the WPIBL North Section's high average title.
She edged Golden Tornado teammate and senior Reegan Malis, who rolled a 632 series Friday to finish the regular season with a 180.33 average. Shaler's Lexi Pilyih finished third in the section with a 177.47.
