WHAT'S THE VACCINATION PLAN

These are some examples given by the Department of Health on which professions, industries and residents fall under the phases of its vaccine distribution plan:

Phase 1A: Emergency medical service personnel, nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, dentists, dental hygienists, chiropractors, therapists, phlebotomists, pharmacists, technicians, pharmacy technicians, health profession students and trainees, direct support professionals, school health personnel and health providers not employed by a system.

Phase 1B: People ages 75 and older, people in congregate-living settings that are not designated long-term care facilities, first responders, correctional officers, food and agricultural workers, U.S. Postal Service workers, manufacturing workers, grocery store workers, education workers, clergy and others who support houses of worship, public transit workers and individuals caring for children or adults.

Phase 1C: People ages 65 to 74; people who have high-risk conditions between the ages of 16 and 64; and workers from the sectors of transportation and logistics, water and wastewater, food service, housing construction, finance, IT, communications, energy, legal services, government, media, public safety and public health.

Phase 2: Those not previously covered who are age 16 and older.
