Center Township fires code enforcement officer
Center Township supervisors parted with their code enforcement officer Tuesday at a special meeting where they split on the decision. After conducting an executive session at the Center Township Municipal Building, supervisors voted on a motion that ratified the suspension and terminated the employment of Patrick Gauselmann. Supervisors Ron Flatt, Philip Wulff and Robert Sloan voted in favor of the firing while Supervisors Alan Smallwood and Ed Latuska voted against the motion. Gauselmann, who served as the township's building code enforcement and zoning officer, was suspended without pay Oct. 27. No reason was immediately given for the firing.
