Police believe they found body of missing Center Township woman
Police believe they found the body of a 56-year-old Center Township woman who has been missing for nearly two months. A body was found Monday afternoon in a wooded area off a road several miles from the missing woman's home, authorities said. A positive identification of the body is pending.
Laura Graham-Simonetti's family reported her missing Sept. 6. She was last seen driving from her house on Beechwood Boulevard.
Along with the body, state police said they recovered Graham-Simonetti's white, 2012 Volkswagen Jetta on the same vacant property on Glenwood Way in Center Township.
Investigators said it appeared the body had been there “for a while,” possibly weeks.
An autopsy was planned today, police Cpl. Tim Morando said, but foul play is not suspected.
