Marlene Crouch

Marlene Crouch of Butler will celebrate her 85th birthday from 2 to 5 p.m. Oct. 24 at the Brick House in Butler.

The former Marlene Anthony was born Oct. 25, 1935, in Herman. She married Walter Eugene Crouch on Jan. 14, 1961, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Butler. He died in September 2005.

She has three children, Nancy Kaczmarek of Bristol, Tenn., Janey Ciontea of Sandwich, Ill., and Cathy Dorgan of Chesapeake, Va. She also has five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She is retired.
